We produce a variety of
Ceramicsteel panels in our Jaffrey
factory with automated laminating
equipment. Heated adhesive is
applied to each surface by a
four-gun reciprocal spray system in
the exact thickness required
accomplishing positive, even
coverage. Lamination is performed by
a 100 pound-per-square-inch rotary
pinch roller to provide a
high-strength bond.

What is the differences
between porcelain-on-steel and
porcelain-on-aluminum panels?
In 1992, Alliance
(now Polyvision) discontinued
furnishing porcelain-faced
panels to the glazing and window
markets, and instead decided to
concentrate on marketing
Porcelain-on-Steel coil to a
selected group of Approved Panel
Laminators (APLs). High Standard
is an APL. The porcelain coating
on steel is thicker than
porcelain on aluminum. This,
together with a higher firing
temperature and the steel
substrate, results in a surface
hardness that is more than 50%
harder than porcelain on
aluminum.

and benefits of porcelain on
