Come learn the of the advantages of an Aluminum Composite Material system by High Standard.
With ten years of experience with aluminum composite materials (ACM) under our belts, we fully understand and appreciate the advantages of this superior material. The list of reasons for why composites are second to none goes on and on.
Affordable:
Compare composites to marble, granite, brick, pre-cast materials, and other quality cladding options. You'll find that ACM's light weight, and High Standard's easy to install panel systems, make composites quality for price ratio unbeatable.Lightweight, yet very rigid:
ACM has a polyethylene core, allowing the architectural standard 4mm thick material to weigh in at only 1.12 lbs./sq. ft.! Yet ACM is a heavyweight when it comes to rigidity, as an equally rigid standard aluminum sheet weighs almost twice as much per square foot!Strong and durable:
Because the aluminum sheets in composite are bound under tension ACM is strong and durable. A "sandwich" material, composite resists deflection, and manufacturers proprietary bonding methods allow composites to resist as much as 214 PSI of vertical pull without delamination.Versatile:
Aluminum composites come in three standard thicknesses: 3mm, 4mm, and 6mm:- 3mm composite works well for low buildings, where windloading is negligible and/or panel sizes are smaller, or for copings and trim. 3mm is a favorite for gas station canopies and similar applications.
- 4mm is the industry standard because it is competitively priced compared to 3mm, and is not much heavier, yet it is rigid enough to withstand the windloading encountered by most projects.
- 6mm is designed to handle extreme windloading conditions, as for super high rises and skyscrapers.
Functionality:
Composite panel systems are fire resistant, and they resist weather, deaden sound, and are kept quite clean in usual conditions by exposure to rain.Designable:
Using our tested system engineering and fabrication techniques, we can make composites form to nearly any design. Composite can be grooved from the backside so that it will fold on center of the groove and produce tight edges. With proper groove layout composites can be made to conform to virtually and shape imaginable.Retrofit:
Time after time economical aluminum composites have helped transform outdated or rundown buildings into modern, high-tech looking constructions. And the good looks are here to stay this time. Composite's advanced finishes keep ACM systems looking good through all kinds of weather.Interior, too:
Composites look just as good on the inside as they do on the outside. Carry your entranceway concepts right into the interior lobby. We believe you'll agree that our concealed fastener systems look just as good close up as they do far away. And don't forget the good looks:
ACM's clean, crisp, and straight bends, even flowing curves, infinite possibilities, concealed attachment systems, and finishes that resists weathering. all add up to equal a cladding system that, when it comes to good looks, has no equal.High Standard offers panel systems based on any of the three major manufacturers:
- Alpolic by Mitsubishi Chemical America Inc.
- Reynobond by Reynolds Metals Co.
- Alucobond by Alucobond Technologies Inc.
